PROTEIN IMPORTANCE IN BODY

 Now a days the trend is going on that people are using protein powders to build their body or to increase their stamina but few people are aware about the disadvantages of its over dose.


In this article we will first discuss about the function and advantages of protein in body and later the disadvantages of its over dose.


 IMPORTANCE OF PROTEIN IN HUMAN BODY :-


Excluding water and fat, the entirely  human body is made up of protein. Protein is the main component of muscle, bone, organ, skin and nails. Excluding water the muscles are made up of 80% of protein, making this nutrient very important for the human body.


HOW IS PROTEIN USED IN HUMAN BODY:-

The body break down the protein into amino acid  and absorbs it. It is used to build muscles and organs and to make hormones and antibodies.





HOW MUCH PROTEIN DOES THE BODY NEED:

The daily maximum amount of protein a body should get is 2gms/kg of body weight.Consuming more will not increase synthesis but increase the amount consumed as energy and lead to an increase in body fat. Too much of protein can also burden lever and kidney.

* It is important to adjust the amount of protein you consume everyday.


*If you eat three well balanced meals a day, you should easily be able to acquire the amount of protein your body needs. The important thing is not only how much you eat, but also what you eat and  when you eat it.


CONSUMING PROTEIN AND CARBOHYDRATE TOGETHER:-

When protein is consumed along with carbohydrates (sugar or glucose), blood sugar rises and insulin is produced, promoting amino acid synthesis.
Carbohydrates are also used as the first energy source, preventing the use of amino acids. After exercise, it is a good idea to have something like a jelly drink that allows you to consume both carbohydrates and protein at the same time.


WHEN TO CONSUME PROTEIN:-


It is important to consume protein at the right time. The ideal time to consume it is immediately after exercise.
The body breaks down protein faster immediately following exercise, and also synthesizes it more actively, leading to more amino acids being absorbed into the muscles.

PEEPAL TREE :-

 


Peepal tree(bodhi tree, Ashwattha tree or sacred fig) is considered to have a religious significance in three major religions that originated on the Indian subcontinent, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.


USES OF PEEPAL TREE :-


Since the ancient times in Ayurveda this sacred tree is being used for treatment of many diseases, every part of this tree i.e. leaves, bark, flowers, fruits and roots is used for curing many health problems. 


LEAVES :-



Leaves of Peepal tree contains Glucose, Asteroid and Mennos, Phenolic 

Used to cure stomach  pain: make paste of 2-5 leaves of peepal plant and mix with 50 grams Jaggery and make small tablets of the mixture and take it 3-4 times a day to soothe stomach pain.

Treating persistent skin itching

repairing dry and cracked heels

treating boils, pimples and blackheads 

EYE PAIN


Extract the milk from peepal leaves and apply it on eyes to cure eye pain.

SNAKE BITE

Because of its blood purifying action the extract of peepal tree leaves can be used to remove poison from the body after a snake bite.



HEART PROBLEMS

For treating heart-related issues such as palpitations and cardiac weakness, start drinking an infusion prepared from peepal leaves. To prepare it, infuse leaves in water overnight and distill it in the morning. Drink this infusion thrice a day for the best results.





BARK :-



It's bark is rich in Vitamin K, tainen and Phaetosteroline.

Its bark is used to cure Asthama:- Take a bark of plant and its ripe fruits. Make their powder separately and mix them in equal quantities. Take this mixture thrice a day for relief in problem.

Strengthening blood capillaries and minimizing inflammation 

Healing skin bruises faster and increasing skin resilience 

treating pigmentation issues, wrinkles and dark circles 

lightening surgery and pregnancy marks, scars and stretch marks 


The powder prepared from peepal tree bark can be used as face mask by combining it with gram flour. this paste will help in improving complexion 

TOOTHACHE

Prepare a rinse by boiling Peepal tree and banyan tree bark in equal quantity in water and use this to rinse your mouth regularly. This will provide you relief from toothache.


SEEDS



 For blood purification

A lot of health problems are a result of impurities in the blood. The natural way to purify the blood is by having 1-2 gms seeds of peepal tree with honey.


For impotency




Take half spoon of peepal fruit (sacred fig) powder thrice a day with milk. This will help in treating impotence and provide strength to the body.
